What is Konda Kondi?
Konda Kondi is a traditional Malaysian folk game that originated in the estates of Melaka. Played using two wooden sticks and a launcher, it was a favorite pastime of children in the Indian and Malay communities. Today, this cultural heritage has been revitalized for a new generation through modern innovations — while preserving its cultural soul.

Game Disciplines
Sungkit
Flick the short stick from the launcher into the field. Avoid being caught!
Air Swing
Strike the short stick directly and aim for distance while dodging defenders.
Patuk Ayam
Tap and hit the airborne stick for maximum distance and accuracy.
Competition Format
- 5 players per team (3 active, 2 reserves)
- 30 minutes match duration
- Scoring based on total measured distance
- 2 official referees per match
